MOPS is an international organization designed to nurture mothers with children from birth through kindergarten. Our goal is to reach moms where they are by offering support in a relaxed atmosphere of caring, sharing and fun!

We know that all moms share a similar desire to be the very best moms they can be. This is the perfect place to grow as moms, to celebrate the joys of motherhood and to encourage each other through its challenges.

Meetings: GCN MOPS meets from 9:30-11:30am on the 1st and 3rd Fridays of each month, September through May, at Georgetown Church of the Nazarene. We begin our meetings with breakfast, so come hungry! Each meeting highlights a different topic/guest speaker, followed by small group discussion. .
Moms: We warmly welcome moms of every age, social or ethnic background and religious denomination - any mom who has (or is about to have) children from birth through kindergarten! Stay-at-home and working moms, teen, single and married moms, moms who are expecting and moms who are waiting to adopt - please join us! If you would like to visit one of our meetings, please contact us to pre-register so that we may arrange for childcare and supplies. You are welcome to join us at any time throughout the year!
Childcare: Be assured that your child(ren) will be lovingly cared for in our MOPPETS program just down the hall. They have a planned curriculum, snacks, music and play time.
